Limerick

Opened in 2010, Limerick Stadium is one of Ireland's newer Greyhound racetracks. Originally intended as a replacement for Markets Field Greyhound Stadium, Limerick is now one of Ireland's best racetracks with top races such as the St Leger and Kirkby Memorial Stakes taking place here.

The Irish St Leger has been in existence since 1932 and after featuring at a variety of racetracks, now finds its home in Limerick. The race is 550 yards on sand with a 30,000 euro purse.
