Mullingar

Founded in 1932, Mullingar is one of Ireland's oldest greyhound tracks and in recent years has seen huge investment bring it up to a fantastic standard. The racetrack is now heavily part of the busy Irish dog racing circuit and is home to the annual Cesarewitch competition.

The Cesarewitch was founded in 1970, a 600 yard race on sand with a 7000 euro purse. As of 2020, the compeition is sponsored by SIS. The race was won in 2021 by Amazing Alice in 33.20s.

Race times:

Racing at Mullingar generally takes place on Saturday (7.30pm onwards) and Sunday afternoon.
